Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026 • Effective across the ProgrammersOS ecosystem

Core Privacy Commitment

ProgrammersOS is an engineering platform designed by developers, for developers. We do not sell your personal information, monetize your telemetry, or deploy third-party advertising trackers.

1. Zero-Server Client-Side Developer Tools

Our 35+ utility tools (including the JSON Formatter, Base64 Encoder/Decoder, JWT Token Debugger, SQL Formatter, Diff Checker, and Regex Tester) execute 100% inside your local web browser engine using native V8 Web APIs and WebAssembly.

  • Payloads, keys, and code snippets entered into Dev Tools are never transmitted across the network.
  • No logs, storage, or caching of your input occurs on our backend infrastructure.
  • You can safely format production JSON or decode auth tokens with complete privacy assurance.

2. Information We Collect

When you create an account to track your learning progress, we collect:

Account Information

Name, email address, profile avatar, and username provided via Firebase Authentication or GitHub/Google OAuth.

Learning Metrics

Problems solved, streak history, submission code, contest ratings, and course enrollment records.

Personal Notes & Tasks

Personal Kanban tasks, markdown notes, and bookmarks synced to your encrypted user document.

Career Profile

Optional resume text, job application pipeline status, and portfolio showcases created in Career Command Center.

3. Code Execution Sandboxes

When you run code in our practice IDE or online compiler rountimes, your code is compiled inside ephemeral, isolated containers with network and disk restrictions. Containers are recycled immediately following execution, and code is not retained or used for model training.

4. Data Retention, Portability & Account Deletion

You retain full ownership of your data. You may request an export of your personal notes or delete your entire account directly from your Account Settings. Deleting your account irreversibly purges your profile, notes, and activity history from our databases.
